Get to Know Us
When our son was diagnosed with a medical condition, we felt afraid, hopeless, scared, and desperate for his healing. After experiencing that and feeling so lonely, I knew that I would never want another parent to face something like this unprepared and without others who could understand their pain and agony. For this reason, we birthed We Are Survivors - KIDS to meet the needs of parents caring for children with a chronic illness or neurological difference.
Our Mission
We Are Survivors - KIDS provides programs and resources to make life easier for parents of children with a chronic illness and/or neurological difference.
What We Do
We Are Survivors - KIDS helps parents of children with a chronic illness and/or neurological difference by offering support groups and connecting families with condition-specific resources and therapies. Additionally, we are a network of resources for families as we aim to be their one-stop shop to find whatever information needed to best support and care for their child.
Vision
We hope that no family facing a new diagnosis will ever feel alone as they start the journey.
