About Us
Vision Statement
We strive to build a community of families who thrive through the strength and support of each other. Families will always feel safe and supported and are encouraged to vent, share, ask questions, and lean on each other during support group meetings. Our website will serve as a hub for all things related to childhood illnesses and neurological differences. Families will be empowered by accessing a myriad of resources on our website and during support group meetings. They will be educated about their child’s condition and find ways to care for and support them using provided resources. These resources include but are not limited to, condition-specific national organizations, education and other advocates, speech, occupational, and other support therapists.

Purpose
We exist to fill the gap between a child’s diagnosis and the parents empowerment, victory, and resilience. No parent should feel alone as they embark upon this new journey. We Are Survivors - KIDS will partner with families so they know they are not alone in their sadness, grief, and feelings of hopelessness and empower them through education, advocacy, and support.
